Currently, we offer plant-based shrimp designed for a wide range of culinary applications.
What is your shrimp made from?
Water, Pea Protein, Calcium Lactate, Sodium Alginate, Sunflower Oil, and Potato Starch.
Less than 2% of: Maltodextrin, Sea Salt, Sugar, Fructose, Modified Corn Starch, Sodium Citrate, Natural Flavor, Sunflower Lecithin.
Is your shrimp vegan?
Yes. Our products are 100% plant-based and contain no animal products or ingredients.
Is your shrimp allergen-friendly?
Yes. Our products are formulated and manufactured to exclude the top 9 U.S. allergens.
Storage & Cooking
What is the shelf life of the shrimp?
When stored frozen, the shrimp has a shelf life of 12 months. After thawing, it has a refrigerated shelf life of 10 days.
Do I need to thaw the shrimp before cooking it?
You can cook our plant-based shrimp from frozen. There’s no thawing required.
How do you cook Bayou Best Foods shrimp?
